About the Program
Hope Restorations’ programs have evolved to fit an urgent need for the placement of our participants, including the establishment of two transitional houses, the House of Hope for Women and the House of Hope for Men. These transitional houses allow our participants to acclimate into a work/life balance and rebuild their foundations in a safe environment free of temptation. Our method differs greatly from a typical boarding house. Our 24/7 staff and mentors walk side-by-side with our participants, building trust and instilling confidence.
The House of Hope for Women (Tapp House, c. 1916), located in Kinston, has become an integral part of Hope Restorations' mission. With the capacity to house up to twenty adult females at a time, our participants' long-term success rates have increased by offering stability that is necessary in early recovery. At the House Hope for Women, the ladies follow a phase format recovery program, participate in group meetings, activities, skill classes.
